Hello, I need a well-recommended educational, academic wave for the gravitational waves, (prefer to be recent ). How can I learn more about the intrinsic characteristics of the gravitational waves? There types, classifications ?

For more recent textbooks, you should look for Maggiore’s Vol 1 & 2. Also, this online course is a very good overview, but not recent. (Both of these resources are on the technical side though).
