Hi! I’m Anna Chrysostomou, a Cypriot/Romanian hybrid born and raised in South Africa. In 2021, I started a joint-PhD through the University of Johannesburg (South Africa) and the University of Lyon-1 (France) on hyperbolic extra dimensions.
My background includes astrophysics, particle physics, and quasinormal mode (QNM) theory. I’m still all agog at gravitational wave research, and find myself currently trying to connect my little QNM bubble to the greater gravitational-wave landscape.
