## Study Hubs for Open Data Workshop 2024
For [Open Data Workshop 2024](https://www.gw-openscience.org/odw/odw2024/), we are encouraging participants to host or join “Study Hubs” to work through the tutorials and data challenges together.
Study Hubs can be organized by the workshop mentors or also by participants who would like to work on the tutorials and notebooks together.
If you would like to host a Study Hub, we encourage you to advertise it here. Please reply to this post, and include information people will need to join your hub. Please include:
- Study Hub location and time.
- How many people can join?
- How do participants sign-up? Is there a registration form?
- Any other information relevant to the participants, e.g. COVID protocols.
You are welcome to contact the workshop organizers with any questions.

Depending on the situation of the COVID pandemic and the policy of Taiwanese government, we will circulate the related information to all the participants.

Yes, we provide 6-7 mentors to serve both on-site and on-line.

Hi all,
We are organizing a study hub in Pune (India) at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics
- **Study Hub location and time** : Smart classroom on the 1st floor of IUCAA TLC building. The sessions will take place from 18-20 April 2024 between 11:30 - 16:30 IST.
- **How many people can join?** Max 25 people.

We are organizing an in person study hub at GeorgiaTech, Atlanta. Details are as follows:

Hi Lucas, the study hubs are in general intended to be in person since they work much better in that case. We try to arrange many study hubs geografically spead around but we cannot cover everywhere and for some cases the possibility of joining on line is also given. The lectures are held in Taiwan this year and I think they will offer also the possibility to join the study hub online just after the leacture if it is good for you time zone.

As mentioned by Agata, the study hub is hosted for the people who would like to attend in-person at different time zones. If you cannot find a study hub close to your living place, we still offer the way (through [thinkific.com](http://thinkific.com)) for people to join the lectures on line. We’ll upload the video soon after each session. It means that we’ll upload our recorded videos of the morning session at noon. I’ve arrived quite late to the discussion, but I’ll be connecting remotely from Santiago, Chile 🙂 Thought of joining online into Monterrey Tec’s Study Hub at Guadalajara, but I’d miss some classes/meetings here ☹
