Hello, I need a well-recommended educational, academic wave for the gravitational waves, (prefer to be recent ). How can I learn more about the intrinsic characteristics of the gravitational waves? There types, classifications ?

@salanl Thank you for your question! Are you looking for a book to read? If so, you might like this textbook. Or, if you prefer something free, there is an overview article by Keith Riles on the arXiv that seems like a great place to start.

For more recent textbooks, you should look for Maggiore’s Vol 1 & 2. Also, this [online course](https://astro-gr.org/online-course-gravitational-waves/) is a very good overview, but not recent. (Both of these resources are on the technical side though).
