# Does LIGO association or any participating universities take part in GSOC?

I was looking for GW analysis work opportunities under Google’s Summer Of Code and couldn’t find anything related to LIGO.  
It seems like a good program to get volunteers to work on GW research, if anyone is hosting independently I would be interested to join.

Hi Shan,

I agree, having a project posted on GSOC sounds like a good idea! Unfortunately I don’t know of any GSOC project related to gravitational wave research.
