# Add LaTeX functionality

Hello all,

It would be nice to add math LaTeX functionality in the forum. From what I’ve checked, `discourse.org` has a plugin for that [here](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-math/65770). Not sure how easy it would be though - just a suggestion.

I agree! I’ve tried to set this up. Thank you for suggesting it!

Test with `$` in line:  
`$3x^2$` : 3x^2

Here is a test using `$$` for a block of math:

\frac{45}{4y^2} \\ \Sigma\_n n^3
